STAND-ALONE-SET 752154. How to connect to Gateway?
Hello
There’s a strange situation: I’ve got a Valena Life with Netatmo STAND-ALONE-SET 752154 (https://www.legrand.at/de/katalog/produkte/valena-life-with-netatmo-stand-alone-set-steckdose-sender-farbe-ultraweiss-752154). I’t normally controlled by itsels: switch controls the outlet, but I can’t connect to gateway. It don’t allow me to use some remote scenarios and other technics. The switch works like a gateway (with orange led)…
Is it possible (to have remote gateway conecttion) for this kind of devices? … Or they are strrongly coupled with no any remote controls. May be some reconnection algorithm existed?
Thank you.
Hello Alex,
I must admit I don’t well know this pre-paired device : for me, a wireless switch must be linked to a wired one, as wireless devices are “just” Zigbee repeaters and the communication with the gateway is done by the wired switches. So, without a wired one, I don’t see how remote actions are performed
The best is to contact directly your local customer support and ask them the question

Leslie, hello
I’ll try to explain: legrand has this one: 752154
It consists of the set: wired outlet and wireless switch (and they are “pre-paired” by the instruction). These devices can communicate with each other without gateway (by the instruction). Also I can connect to that set (i.e. Add) other wireless (“Install any additional wireless switches”) or wired devices (“Start setting up the additional wired products”). This is iteresting, ok, nice and etc .. But the schema is not controlled by “smart” home …
So, the question is: is there a way to connect this device set to gateway to process real centralized operation (Home+Control operation etc). May be some total reset can help … I just wouldn’t want to break them at all -)
Thanks a lot for you answers, Leslie. Have a good day
Hi Alex,
I asked for more information to the marketing :
- these pre-paired devices are in “Ready to start” mode : a radio solution for installation without a gateway. They are the same hardware/firmware products, but the coordination with the Cloud is done by the wired product. But in this communication mode, features from the Home + Control app like scenarios management are not possible
- it’s possible to link the devices to a Legrand/Bticino gateway (in-wall, in electrical cabinet or plugged-in one). You just have to reset the products (by pressing 20 seconds on the EZ button) and convert it in a classical Zigbee connected installation by following the linking process in the Home + Control app
Have a good day,
