i have <span style=”caret-color: #575757; color: #575757; font-family: ‘Segoe UI’, ‘Noto Sans’, sans-serif; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;”>Arteor with Netatmo installed in my home – we have the light switches installed – two do these switches have other devices connected ( fan and towel rail) – within the app I can only set the device type to lights – same In HomeKit </span>

Is there going to be functionally added to change the device type I.e fan or other device?

it’s a little frustrating when functions like “turn off all lights” turns the towel rail and fan off

Hello Sam,

Your use case is a bit specific as you are using light switches to manage other devices than lights. Unfortunately, these devices are not really intended to manage other appliance types than lights, and it’s not planned to let them do it

Concerning fans, we have a dedicated switch which will arrive in January 2023. Concerning the towel rail, a connected cable outlet would be more appropriate
