Apple’s HomeKit – Bticino FC80GT

Hello, I’m writing to request information regarding the integration of my FC80GT gateway with Apple’s HomeKit suite. I have installed and configured my home automation system, and completed the full setup of the gateway via the Home+Control app; all controls are functioning correctly. As suggested by the app installed on my iOS mobile device, I would like to complete the setup by connecting the system to HomeKit in order to use Siri for voice commands. However, despite following the procedure correctly and confirming that the gateway is in pairing mode (blinking green LED), I always receive a prompt to add the device, followed shortly by an error message stating that the gateway could not be added. Below is a list of checks and tests I have performed:

- Attempted the pairing procedure on two iPhones: iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18.5) and iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 18.4.1); both failed
- Verified that the Home+Control app is up to date with the latest version installed
- The gateway is correctly installed, visible, and fully functional within the Home+Control app
- Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz only, and both mobile devices and the gateway are connected to it
- Performed a power cycle on the gateway by unplugging and reconnecting it
- Tried pairing also via the iOS Home app; the gateway appears but fails to add successfully

I would appreciate it if you could provide the full and detailed pairing procedure. The gateway is declared HomeKit-compatible in its technical documentation and this is also confirmed by the Home+Control app. Looking forward to your kind response. Thank you.
