Blinking red led, but everything works

Hi,

I have a Legrand 412015 device. My network doesn’t use the official bridge, but is pure zigbee via zigbee2mqtt.

Everything is working fine, and the power measurment is working, but the led is blinking red.

I noticed it a few weeks ago, I just cut the power, and it stopped blinking.

Now, I noticed is a again blinking red, but as I said, everything is working fine.

 

What is the meaning of a blinking red led ? Is there anywhere a documentation of the meaning of every led color/state ?

 

I excluded it from my network and joined it again, and the led is off, as it should be…. Let’s see for how long…

 

PS : is there a way to know a device is in that state ? I don’t really wan’t to check all the switches I have for my lights, as they are in the ceiling…

PS2 : that module is the only one (that I can see) having this behaviour.

Blinking again today….

Hi Xavinou,

I didn’t find a public documentation for LED behaviour, so I checked in our internal doc. An infinite blinking red LED must indicate that the device is looking for an open network (Legrand gateway or Zigbee hub)

As it’s correctly linked to your zigbee network, I suppose it could be a bug. Did you update your NLPx firmware to its latest version (v.90) ?

I don’t see any way to know that the device is in this state. If it blinks red, it means that it’s not linked to any network and, so, can’t be seen in the devices list/state via an API call

No, I haven’t updated it. It is still in v83.

I’m gonna update it, as I have a two of them (the other one isn’t blinking and also in v83)

The answer arrived fast ! The red blinking is not coming from what I said previously. Here is what the Support said :

Three phase installation: Check whether the connected energy meter is connected to the same phase as the measuring coil.

Any installation: Strong phase shift between voltage and current on the line caused by a load with an unfavorable power factor (Motor, swimming pool pump, certain lighting, etc.)

Not sure there is something I can do for that, it’s connected to the main line, to measure the whole consumption.

But I gonna intervert the two devices I have (one to measure a specific line), to see is it’s the other one who starts blinking…
