Hello !

I’m new to “works with legrand” and plan to developp an app to control and read status of Legrand devices on multiple locations.

I’ve check the API and it seems to be well documented… except the discovery step of the devices.

Do I have to set up first my devices on “home+” app and then manage them in my app or can I do both working with the API ?

Hello Lilian and welcome ;),

You must set up your installation via Home + Control application. This commissioning step is mandatory to know which devices are linked to which gateway, what is the account to manage them, and so on

Once done, you can of course not use the app anymore and build your own one
