Hello,

i bought the startet kit for valena alure.

The problem is that my getaway blinking constantly with an orange led. tried to reset/ take of power but blinking never stops.

Second issue is that master switch looks to be out of sync. If i press 2 buttons to sync or any button, it simply flashes twice green and then red.

Any way to fix it myself before returning it to store?

It looks like a problem with devices (electrical installation, or misfunction of them)

I wonder if you managed to solve this problem somehow?

Unfortunately it seems that I’ve got the same issue with Valena Life – cannot pair the Master Switch with the Gateway. All that I get is 2 green blinks and 1 red. Unfortunately Polish Customer Support isn’t helpful about it, so I’d really apreciate any advice.

Hello Michal,

It looks like a failure to join the gateway network. Can you send me a message via the contact form with your name, email address of your account and gateway MAC address ? (you can find it in the gateway details in Home + Control app). I’ll then send it to my contacts in order them to bring you help

Support contacted me again and this time problem solved – it required resetting the gateway and the master switch.

Hi Having the same issue, the question is how to reset the masterswitch, tried the button on the switch, pressed it for 8 seconds it turns red for a second, and then Green twice and the red led again. Am I doing something wrong?

Here is my advice :

Try to reset your Gateway with a 10 seconds push on its EZ button. It will also reset all devices linked to it, including the Home/Away switch. Cut off power at the main circuit breaker and wait at least 10 seconds, and then restore power at the main circuit breaker. Wait 5 minutes in order to be sure the gateway correctly launched its software. Finally, press the middle of the wireless master switch’s button until the indicator light briefly displays in green and then switches off. The best is to do it in front of your gateway to avoid a distance problem

Once more, this forum is aimed at helping with software questions and I’m not into hardware. So, if it still doesn’t work, the best is to contact the Customer Support of your country

Hi there,

I have a similar problem with a newly installed Valena Life Connected Starter Pack. The home/away switch flashes green-green-red for a long press, just as above but the difference is that my gateway doesn’t light up at all. I tried switching off the mains and turning it back on but even then, the gateway led stays dark, the socket works though when I plug in something.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Hi Gergely,

Some users seem to have fixed it by manually resetting both gateway and Home/Away switch (I didn’t have a direct confirmation of this from the support teams)

You could try this first and then contact directly the customer support of your country if it still doesn’t work
