I have discovered recently that I can no longer add a gateway module (4 121 81) to an existing home. Is there a way to do it?

Not having it in the same existing home will force me to have two separate homes and hence avoid the creation of automations within the whole ecosystem that I would like to create.

If the answer is “no, it has to be in a separate home”, how can a make integrations between both homes within home + control? (and not using an external integration).

Indeed, you can only have one Home + Control gateway per Home

But I’m not sure to understand your need. I see that you have an existing MyHOME installation

MyHOME is a different offer managed by a local server in your electrical cabinet, and using classical switches. You can’t add a Home + Control gateway to manage this installation (Cloud solution, with connected wired/wireless switches needed). Even if they are now manageable with the same Home + Control app, there is no direct link between the 2 solutions

Can you explain me more about what you want to do ?

Thanks for the clear answer. It would be lovely to be able to have either automations or scenarios that could combine both “ecosystems Wireless Gateway and MyHome”. For example a connected power outlet (to the Gateway) be linked to an event produced by a wired switch (belonging to MyHome) or another event coming from a light (from MyHome).

Because it is really a pity if such in between homes integration is not offered out of the box by Home+Control (when both technologies belong to Legrand) and I would have to find a custom solution out there (thinking already on Open Source solutions) to achieve it.

I don’t well know this API, but maybe you could find what you need with it 😉
