Legrand Excel Life Smart Dimmer only turns on with long press

I have a Legrand Excel Life Smart Dimmer (EWNDIM) that I have paired to my own Zigbee network (Home Assistant with a Sonoff Zigee coordinator).

I’ve paired it successfully and I can control everything through Home Assistant: Light on/off, brightness level.

On the switch itself I’m having a problem where I can turn the light off with a regular short press, but to turn the light on I have to do a long (~2s) press. If I just do a short press, nothing happens.

Once the light is on, long pressing works fine for adjusting the brightness and then a short press turns off the light.

Is there anything I can do to be able to turn the light on with a short press of the switch? Is this the normal behaviour for the dimmer?

Thank you

Is there a value I can write to

Cluster: 0xFC01

Attribute:  0x0000

?

It appears to have something to do with the dimmer mode? It’s currently set to 0x0101

Hello,

Here is the answer from our Zigbee expert :

The attribute id are 0x1 and 0x2 (do not use at all 0x0)

EDIT : added table in the attachment

Hoping it answers your question,

Have a good day,
