i would be nice to be able to limit the max light level in a dimmer switch depending on time of day. For example, if I turn on the light at night it will be automatically limited to 10% so it is more comfortable to the eye

The best would be to have time factor as input condition for automations. Then it’s easy to set this up.

example:

if

time is between 22:00 and 6:00

light livingroom light status is ON

then

set livingroom light brightness to 20%
