MHS1 connects to Home + Project, but not to Home + Control

Hi! I’ve recently moved into a new (previously owned) apartment which has a MyHomeServer1 gateway connected to 4 blinds/shutters. I was able to connect to the MHS1 with various third-party “bridges” (openHAB and Homebridge) and control the shutters. Likewise, I could also connect to the gateway via Home + Project and was able to tweak the config (stop times for the shutters were set far too high which messed with the open/close detection of openHAB/Homebridge). However, I’m unable to connect to the system with Home + Control. I tried it on various devices (iPhone running iOS 18 beta, iPad running latest iOS 17), but it always fails to detect the MHS1, first automatically and then when supplying the correct local IP address. See screenshots below.

The MHS1 works fine since all blinds can be controlled via the wall switches and via openHAB/Homebridge, the IP address is correct and the firmware is up to date, it can be reached and configured with Home + Project, it just seems to be “invisible” to Home + Control. I also tried restarting the MHS1. Is there any setting to “unlock” the connection?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

There is an internal ticket about it saying that the port 25050 must be opened in order to communicate with the Cloud. It can also be that your MHS1 is not correctly recognized in the Cloud

In any case, the best is to contact your local customer support as they will be able to perform remote tests (give them the MAC Address of your MHS1)

Have a good day,
