ON OFF information on SWITCH 067773
Hy
To date with current firmware, only toggle information is available on these switches.
Is it possible to also access the ON and OFF information when the switch is activated?
Thank you for your response
Hello Jean-Marc,
A NLT – as all wireless switches – must be considered as a “dumb” device, which means that it’s only a signal repetitor and can’t know its own ON/OFF state. Via the API you must check the “on” value (true/false) of the wired switch linked to it to know the state

hi
In the first firmwares it was possible to know if you had pressed the ON or OFF button. but now we only have the Toggle information. Is it not possible to get all the informations namely ON OFF and TOGGLE
Thank you for your response
Hello Jean-Marc,
When you say “in the old firmware”, you are talking about what was shown by the API ? Or are you talking about the LED behavior on the switch ?

Hello,
Jumping on this thread as I am faced to similar limitations. I have no word to express my dissatisfaction in regards to Legrand!
In my house I have spent thousands of euros in Legrand Netatmo devices (Wired switches, Output wall, NLTs, Presence Sensors, etc..) everything is Legrand Netatmo.
To me (but probably for all Legrand Netatmo users) all wireless device are useless because:
- States and controls are not exposed to “Home+Control App” and so by some extend not exposed to Apple Shortcut nor on Homekit!
- These devices requires to be paired with a wired devices.
As a consequence you cannot use them to be part of any automation.
For example:
- If Presence is detected Then switch On wired switch
- You can’t have the state of Presence sensor
- The fact that Presence sensor requires a pairing with wired device makes it an automatic switch.
Inded, users cannot control the flow of their automation. Its absurd as they may want to control wire switch with presence sensor state AND other conditions.
- Same applies with NLTs: If my Location is X Then Control NLT
These are huge limitations in automation world.
Please request features so these wireless devices become usefull.
Regards,
Romain
Hello Romain,
Wireless switches only act as ZigBee repeaters in a Home + Control installation with a Legrand/Bticino gateway. The “intelligence” stands in the wired devices. So, only wired switches are exposed in HomeKit and the on/off state change displayed by the API is only related to wired ones
Our wireless devices are ZigBee 3.0 compatible. It can be possible to use them via a Z3.0 hub (of course they are not linked anymore to the Legrand gateway) and maybe it could fit your needs
This being said, I forwarded your request and remarks to the relevant teams

Hi
I’ve got double switch (i.e. “Double gangs remote switch”) like this one 067774 or 752187. It worked correctly and sent “on” on On-button-press (lights switch to On) and off on Off-Button-Press (lights switch to off). It was on firmware version 6. But after auto-upgrade to firmware version 47 … something wrong happened. Instead of on/off – it works like toggle or switch. Oh, this is very bad news for multi-light groups …
If I use lights grouping (ex: light1 and light2 by micromodules like 064888) and theirs states are different (ex: light 1 is on, light 2 is off) after any press on group-controlled button (ex: wanted to “off” all of them) I’ve got “fun and sad”: light 1 is off, light 2 is on. And no way to “off” or “on” them both by such group-controlled button. No way at all. So now anybody can’t use more-than-one light per switch …
How I can revert previous working mode/firmware? Or may be U (Legrand) can add in “Home and Control” option to change mode for remote switch operation: on/off (normal and “good”) and “toggle=switch” (strange) + fix firmare. It’s very simple function.
Other words: if I have one micromodule per button so all is OK, almost. But if I have more than one – it’s absolutely abnormal
Thanks, have a nice day
Hi Alex,
As far as I know, there is indeed no way to manage this behaviour in your settings when using a Home + Control gateway
I wrote an internal ticket to the teams to ask them if they see any current solution for this, or if they plan to make an update to allow this behaviour

Hello,
Here is the answer from the internal support : “Starting from NLD-14, there is a “general OFF” function for a group of lights by performing a double click on the switch”. (In the screenshot it’s a simple gang switch, but the behavior should be the same on double gang ones)
There is apparently no planned feature to add an option to manage this behaviour in Home + Control app
