There is no sign-in form anywhere within the forum page

Its taken me a couple of days to figure out how to sign-in to the forum; I may be overlooking something, but nowhere within the forum is there a sign-in option. On the previous version of the website, you could login from the main forum page, or from within in topic thread. That option is gone.

I followed a link from the main Legrand page into the API’s documentation page and found a sign-in option.

I’m using Safari on Mac OS and iOS.

Hello Brant,

We wanted this new version of the website to be the interoperability platform for Legrand Group. To avoid confusion with Netatmo’s login – to be done via Netatmo Connect website -, we decided to move the login area in the Works with Legrand page

Hi Leslie,

that’s a very confusing design. there should be a login option within the forum itself.

thanks

It’s not a bad idea. I’ll think about adding a login button on the forum

To give you an example, these are the steps I had to take to reply to this message….

For whatever reason this forum always signs me out when I leave, so I always have to sign back in. (Edit to say, its not immediate, but if I’m away from this webpage for some time, I have to sign back in. I don’t know what the timer is. Sometimes I stay signed in for 5 minutes. Sometimes for half a day at least).

1) Receive reply notification via email, click the link

2) See the reply, now have to go to “Works with Legrand” page to start sign-in process.

3) Arrive at “works with Legrand page”, and then click the ‘Sign-In’ option.

4) Arrive at ‘Sign-In’ page, fill credentials.

5) Now redirected back to the Legrand home page after sign-in.

6) Return to email program, click reply notification link to return to this thread.

7) now I can enter my response.

On the previous forum, there was a link to sign-in from within every topic.
