Both the Hub and the mobile app are controlled from a cloud based platform managed by Otodo which interfaces the service provider’s environment

The complete system is compliant with popular voice assistants such as Google Home or Alexa

Groupe Renault and Otodo develop a new solution linking cars and homes

Groupe Renault is developing a solution enabling automatic and secure interaction and communication between cars and connected objects in homes. Otodo will provide the platform linking the vehicle and user’s home. This innovative service will be available in all Renault cars that have the new dashboard EasyLink, including the All-new ZOE, All-new Clio and All-new Captur

With this new connectivity solution from Groupe Renault powered by Otodo users will control their home’s connected objects directly from their vehicle’s dashboard

Otodo has been founded in May 2016 by former telecoms executives. The French startup provides a white-label platform, enabling telecom operators and service providers to build smart home services for their end customers. In 2018, Otodo received an innovation award at CES and also consolidated a strategic partnership with Sagemcom, the European leader in the broadband box market. At CES 2020, Otodo previewed a partnership with Groupe Renault to develop a new connectivity solution between cars and homes. Two years after a first fund raising of 1.2 million euros from Sagemcom, Otodo announced in January a second operation of 3 million euros by welcoming the European investment fund Breega as a shareholder
