Delete Scene in Control

To test my 4 scene switch I had created a scene in Control, and it worked (great).

However, how do I now delete that scene and, at least, remove the association with a particular button? I can’t find out how to do it.

I want to do that because I do my automation in Apple Home.

Hi again,

I added the process for Android + iOS

First 2 images : open the scene, click on the bin icon to delete it

3rd image : on iOS or Android uncheck all elements and an “empty” indication will appear (“vide” on the screen)

If you act on scenes 1/2/3/4 you can choose which button to use once you gave a new name (Android only, not possible via iOS app)

I do not have a bin icon.

Can you send me the Home + Control app version ? You could surely find it at the bottom of the burger menu

According to the teams it’s a wanted behavior on iOS (don’t ask me why). You must deselect and then confirm

What am I deselecting?

 

If I read you right, I’ve tried doing that and it doesn’t work.

So you cannot delete Scenes even when Empty?

I’m not much into the Home + Control app, but once the scene is set to “empty” it’s not linked anymore to the switch button, right ?

To delete a scene it should be on the homepage where all scenes are listed, maintain click on it and then use the bin icon to delete it

No delete/bin option.

 

Should I take this through the UK UI support? If so, already tried that and got no response. 🙁

Yes, I think you should do this … on my side I’m told that it should work, so I can’t bring more help about this :(. I don’t know if UK support is really reactive, but they will answer you
