Legrand Home + Control app and Philips Hue lights
After installing the Legrand gateway, the Home + Control app was able to instantly recognize and associate 3 Philips Hue smart lights I had running. Everything worked as expected and I was able to control the lights via Home + Control and Apple’s Home app.
Later on I purchased over 10 additional Hue lights and the Hue bridge. I installed and paired them through the official Philips Hue app. I was able to see and control the new lights via the Hue app and the Apple Home app, but I encountered two problems:
1. The official Hue app couldn’t control those three previously connected to Legrand gateway. The app was able was able to identify them somehow, and they were visible within the Hue app, but they were “unreachable”. Meaning there’s no way of controlling them.
2. The Home + Control app didn’t automatically identify any of the new lights, indicating I might be unable to use them with the BTicino Living Now smart light switches and dimmers. (I haven’t tried running the Add a product sequence though)
After performing a hardware reset on the initial 3 Hue bulbs (supposedly disassociating them from the Legrand Gateway), the Hue app was able to recognize them. Now they’re all paired with the Hue bridge and they’re all visible in the Hue app and Apple Home app.
This makes me concerned that there’s no interoperability between Legrand and Philips Hue apps, meaning I can have them running on either Home+Control & Apple Home configuration or Philips Hue & Apple Home configuration. Can you please confirm whether this is correct. Thanks.

Je rencontre un problème que je n’arrive pas à résoudre malgré plusieurs essais.
Configuration
- Application Home + Control : 26.6.0 (452)
- Firmware Gateway Legrand : 1501.0
- Passerelle Philips Hue : dernière version
- Apple Maison (HomeKit)
- Commande sans fil Legrand CB9402
- Philips Hue Lightstrip Flux
Fonctionnement actuel
- La bande Hue est correctement configurée sur le pont Hue.
- Elle est visible et pilotable dans l’application Hue.
- Elle est également visible et pilotable dans Apple Maison.
- Le pont Legrand fonctionne correctement et est de nouveau associé à HomeKit.
Problème
Lorsque je vais dans :
Ajouter un produit → Autres produits → Éclairages connectés
l’assistant ne recherche jamais les éclairages Hue présents sur mon pont Hue.
Il passe immédiatement à l’étape où il me demande d’associer la commande sans fil CB9402 (appui simultané sur les deux boutons jusqu’à la LED orange/verte).
Il ne m’est jamais proposé de sélectionner la bande Hue ni de renseigner le code Matter fourni par l’application Philips Hue.
Questions
- La Philips Hue Lightstrip Flux est-elle officiellement compatible avec Home + Control ?
- Home + Control est-il censé détecter automatiquement les éclairages déjà associés à un pont Philips Hue ?
- L’intégration Hue est-elle actuellement limitée à certains modèles d’ampoules ou de Lightstrips ?
- Existe-t-il une procédure particulière pour associer une commande CB9402 à un éclairage Hue déjà présent sur un pont Hue ?
Je précise que mon objectif est simplement d’utiliser la commande CB9402 pour piloter une bande Philips Hue conservée sur son pont Hue, sans avoir à la transférer sur le réseau Zigbee Legrand.

This lightstrip is ZigBee 3.0 compatible, so it will work in Home + Control ecosystem. But you already associated it to the Hue Bridge, which is its ZigBee gateway. A Z3.0 device can’t be in several Z3.0 networks, that’s why the integration on Home + Control can’t go further
Also, the Home + Control gateway is not Matter compatible. If you dissociate the lightstrip from the Hue Bridge and then integrate it to Home + Control, you should be able to enable the flow to detect the light and associate it to your switch
Unfortunately, there is no way to make it coexist in both Legrand and Hue ecosystems
