Too fast brightness move rate at long press on NLT dimmer

Dear Leslie,

I have one more issue with NLT wireless dimmer (firmware v54). I use it in ZigBee 3.0 mode, i.e. NLT device is connected to third-party controller. Long press On or Off button sends “Move” (0x01) command of “Level Control” (0x0008) with two arguments:

1) Up (0x00) or Down (0x01)

2) Rate. The device sends 100.

According to Zigbee 3.0 spec, Rate specifies the rate of movement in units per second. The range is from 0 to 255. Rate equals to 100 means 2.5 seconds to move from fully Off to fully On. This is too fast, because even a short long press leads to a very quick brightness increase/decrease. Essentially, I have managed to achieve just three level: fully Off, mid brightness, fully On.

Is it possible to somehow specify/configure the Rate? Maybe through 0xFC01 cluster or somehow else?

If not, is it possible to reduce the Rate at least to something like 20?

BTW, if NLT device is used through Legrand controller, it seems that the move rate is smaller.

Best regards,

Sergey.

Sergey,

Thanks for this feedback. Teams are investigating as it’s maybe a bug. I’ll tell you once I know more
