webhook delay

hello, i am receiving the webhook data of my smarther thermostats with considerable delay and my automations cannot be used in this way. Can you please solve?

thank you.

Hi @Leslie,

it seems that after 1 year we are still experiencing considerable delay on getting webhook data of smarther thermostats.

Do you plan to solve the issue in short time ?

Br

Hi Roberto,

did you find any evidence to solve this issue ?

Dear, I don’t seem to get updates anymore on my webhook used in Homeassistant. Could you check?

I checked the URL on the C2C subscription and it is responsive.

Kind Regards,

Hello Marco,

Can you tell me :

  • which devices it concerns ?
  • do you receive notifications on your native Netatmo app ?
  • how did you configure your webhook ? (directly in Netatmo developer portal ? Via Home Asssistant ? …)

Have a good day,

Dear Leslie,

it concerns a bticino Smarther X8000 thermostat.

I’ts configured in the setup in HomeAssistant. I checked the creation of the subscription via de API in de dev portal and checked the webhook by calling it with Postman and it responds.

I just get huge delays on the webhook and even with data from a previous update.

Hi again,

I performed some tests, and I also have huge delay (4+ minutes) to receive X8000 webhooks

I asked the teams to check this, and I’ll come back to you when I have an answer

Delays are not in the minutes, but hours.

for tests of yesterday. this morning arrived the webhook messages. So about 18 hours delay

Hi Leslie, I think the problem was created on Sunday 27 October 2024 when the time was changed to solar time as you can see from the logs at the time the events arrive, so they are 1 hour behind.

The current thermostat data is not updated it is more up to date than the c2c data, I don’t know if you use a queue mechanism based on the event time and this creates the problem.

2024-11-06 15:49:31.722 DEBUG (MainThread) [custom_components.bticino_x8000.climate] EVENT: {‘id’: ‘xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx’, ‘eventType’: ‘DeviceToCloud’, ‘subject’: ‘///bs_cloud_xxxxx//’, ‘eventTime’: ‘2024-11-06T14:49:31.000Z‘, ‘data’: {‘chronothermostats’: [{‘function’: ‘HEATING’, ‘mode’: ‘AUTOMATIC’, ‘setPoint’: {‘value’: ‘20.00000’, ‘unit’: ‘C’}, ‘programs’: [{‘number’: ‘2’}], ‘temperatureFormat’: ‘C’, ‘loadState’: ‘ACTIVE’, ‘time’: ‘2024-11-06T13:19:51+01:00’, ‘thermometer’: {‘measures’: [{‘timeStamp’: ‘2024-11-06T14:49:31+00:00’, ‘value’: ‘18.8’, ‘unit’: ‘C’}]}, ‘hygrometer’: {‘measures’: [{‘timeStamp’: ‘2024-11-06T14:49:31+00:00’, ‘value’: ‘66.9’, ‘unit’: ‘%’}]}, ‘online’: True, ‘sender’: {‘addressType’: ‘AddressLocation’, ‘system’: ‘thermoregulation’, ‘plant’: {‘id’: ‘xxxx’, ‘module’: {‘id’: ‘xxxxx’}}}, ‘receiver’: {‘oid’: [‘xxxxx’]}}]}, ‘subjectElements’: {‘deviceType’: ”, ‘deviceId’: ”, ‘deviceSystem’: ”, ‘plantId’: ‘bs_cloud_xxxxx’, ‘userId’: ”, ‘applicationId’: ”, ‘gatewayMACAddress’: None, ‘gatewayDeviceModel’: None, ‘deviceName’: None}}

PS.

I’ve added a screenshot of the thermostat app to show you the current status of the ‘measures’ against the c2c data.

Best regards

Andrea
